"While there are many place in the world where mosquitoes constitute a range of problems on a scale from nuisance to much studied vectors of serious, sometimes fatal, illnesses, the arrival of West Nile Virus (WNV) caused Winnipeg to suddenly lurch towards the latter. -- page 5.
