Abstract (English)

"As if emerging from the white walls of the gallery, Marcia Huyer's giant, inflatable Tyvek sculptures conjure both organic and architectural forms. Huyer reinterprets familiar existing objects through the scale and form. The result is no longer definable but is somehow quizzically recognizable. Huyer, a recent MFA graduate from the University of Victoria, has exhibited across Canada." -- Publisher's website.
