Abstract (English)

"If a monographic catalogue usually reflects an exhibition, this first publication on David Altmejd is envisaged more as a reference to the largest possible selection of his work. The many illustrations - together with the essay, which sheds but a fragmentary light on them - seek to produce a faithful echo of an extremely intense and carefully considered practice " -- Preface.
