"Take Place investigates this complexity and theorizes about the notion of place in - and the place of - photography in the context of contemporary art projects. In Take Place various scholarly disciplines (art history, the theory of photography, the history of architecture and social geography) and artistic disciplines (installation art, performance, architecture, and especially multimedia projects) reflect on this theme.
