Abstract (English)

Placing Klimek amongst other significant women in the expanding sculptural activity of the 1980's, Dawn identifies in her work compositions of balanced contrasts. Forms that often suggest technological objects are played-off by the use of organic and highly tactile materials, creating pieces in which stated oppositions are reconciled. Biographical notes.
