Abstract (English)

"Giving Words to the Ground was an illustrated book work and public presentation commissioned by Dare Dare artist-run centre in 2009. It compiled stories about Cabot Square Park in Montreal that I had collected through interviews with local residents, law enforcement officials, business owners, etc. The area was and is a site of change, sadness, growth and instability, where both wealth and poverty insist on making themselves heard." -- Artist's website.
