Abstract (English)

"The Berlin Wall 'fell' in 1989. In 2000, six two-ton slabs severed from the original 160 kilometer long wall were installed on a vacant lot in Turo, Nova Scotia. [...] While the history of the Berlin Wall, as it stood in Germany from 1961-1989 is well documented, its post-fall history as a displaced mobile ruin is not." -- p. 5.
