Abstract (English)

"The 'Shards' exhibition explores another approach, bringin contemporary indigenous female artists together with the pots of their forebearers. Four indigenous female artists from Manitoba - KC Adams, Jaime Black, Lita Fontaine, and Niki Little - came together to investigate and respond to the pottery shards from the collections held by the Manitoba Museum and the University of Winnipeg Anthropology Museum through their artwork." -- p. 3.
