Abstract (English)

A short text on Anngrnaqquaq's appliqued and embroidered wall hangings and their relation to the needlework traditions of the Inuits. This work which includes figuration but not narrative, is compared to that of Luke Anguhadluq, another Baker Lake artist, in its use of the flipped horizon line.
