Abstract (English)

"I love daylilies, the common name "lily of a day." I planted several varieties at the cottage of my parents. I've always loved drawing, especially the faded flower. structure that takes the flower is very graphic with lines going in all directions. So I had all these drawings in my sketbooks. I have grouped them in the book "Hemerocallis". you will find my drawings, I added black shapes to accentuate their structure and I also added Latin words, because in the world of botany, they are essential." -- Artist's website.
