Abstract (English)

"Through a site-specific installation constructed out of 5000 pieces of screenprinted and folded paper, the artist places the viewer in a space between real landscape and its imagined transposition. Calling to mind an ice mass (Inlandsis is a French word meaning ice cap or glacier), the work explores the growth of a form by multiplication, repetition and juxtaposition. Each module is encased to form a modeling of a virtual and abstract place — a hybrid space between drawing and sculpture." -- Publisher's website
