Abstract (English)For an exhibition of six artists, photography is presented as problematizing the gaze, thus fostering curiosity through knowledge and voyeurism. Aesthetic and ethical principles found in Barthes' "La Chambre claire", the history of photography's transition from science to aesthetics, the use of horror in photography, the writings of Bergson and Benjamin, and a typology of photographs of museums are discussed.
