Abstract (English)

Documenting Buthe's travels, Von Wiese examines the implication of the painter's expression of "individual mythologies". Vowinckel traces Odenbach's questioning of the role of art through video installations and performances. In separate introductions, Haas describes the concerns of West German art while Falk compares the two German artists. Includes excerpts from Odenbach's collages in video installations.
