Abstract (English)

Bell's essay focuses on Torosian's reference to the work of Stieglitz and Weston in his development of an individual approach to the nude. Torosian pursues several issues, such as the potential and complexity of photography, the nude in 20th-century photography and his own attempt to reconcile its "factious" state. Biographical notes. Bibl. 4 p.
