Abstract (English)

Rosler's three photo and text works explore first an unexpectedly discovered gulf revealed in a conversation that touched upon Chile at the time of the coup, then an "inadequate" double representation of New York's Bowery district, further examined in a careful critique of the tradition of the liberal documentary photograph.
