Abstract (English)

On the occasion of an exhibit of over 100 of Eyland's miniature paintings, Murchie's "letter" muses on Eyland's approach to art, while the latter's collected writings (mainly reviews, concerning more than 80 artists, together with his sketches of their works) document much of the art made and exhibited in the Halifax area from 1981-1991.
