Abstract (English)

Thakkar contemplates the gaze, characterizing Polataiko's paintings (whose source is a photograph of a reproduction of a photograph of a Malevich "Suprematist" canvas invested with a glaze) as "the rejoinder to painting degree zero." Biographical notes.
