Abstract (English)

On the occasion of an exhibition combining Poulin's sculptures and drawings (1978-1993), Nemiroff examines the sculptor's evolution since 1969, recounting decisive shifts in his production and a continued preoccupation with perception and the symbolism of death. Kuspit asserts that the work is a reaction to the positivist tenets of Minimalism. Includes a catalogue of sculptural works (1969-1994) and biographical notes. Bibl. 9 p.
