Abstract (English)This catalogue documents an exhibition of works by 12 artists under the title "Sculptures-fragments : International photographic work in the 1990s" and includes four essays. Wolf explores the ambivalent relationship between copies and simulacra. Crary surveys various ways or techniques of seeing. Durand investigates the notion of sculpture as fragment and consequent photographic paradoxes. Dubois analyses the questions of photography as an art form and that of the photographic installation.
