Abstract (English)

Held in an abandoned rooming house, the exhibition is conceived as a social and political gesture, striving to bring public attention to the housing crisis within the city. The works of 14 artists generally manifest an explicit political context, denouncing among others, nuclear weapons, political repressing, genocides and wars.

Résumé

L'exposition, tenue dans une maison de chambres abandonnée, se veut un geste social et politique destiné à attirer l'attention du public sur l'état de crise du logement en milieu urbain. Les oeuvres des 14 artistes manifestent la plupart du temps un contenu politique explicite, dénonçant notamment l'armement nucléaire, la répression politique, les génocides, les guerres.
