Abstract (English)

White surveys Benner's installation works created between 1979 and 1995 that examine "the origin, production, distribution, politics and cultural meanings of food in relation to questions of history and power". Mooney, a leading activist, pleads for the preservation of indigenous practices oriented towards genetic diversity and eco-technologies in order to eliminate threats to "food security".
