Abstract (English)

This publication was made on the occasion of a cross-cultural exchange of artworks by kindergarten through grade twelve students from Nova Scotia and Osaka. Webb and Maycock emphasize the value of children's art, while raising questions concerning educational systems, teaching styles and cultural influences. Taylor provides a cultural context for the work by the Japanese students by describing her experiences in Japan.
