Lépicouché borrows philosophical themes from Bataille, in his interpretation of Sapere’s paintings of architectural interiors obliterated by plant forms. Symbolic aspects of the work are discussed. Texts in French and English. Biographical notes. 9 bibl. ref.

Empruntant ses concepts thématiques à Georges Bataille, Lépicouché y va d’interprétations philosophiques à propos des tableaux d’architectures intérieures oblitérées par des éléments végétaux que Sapere réalise en 1999-2000. Dans ses descriptions, l’auteur remonte jusqu’à 1988 pour bien montrer les transformations symboliques opérées dans l’œuvre. Texte en français et en anglais. Notice biographique. 9 réf. bibl.
