Abstract (English)

Diamond suggests that the works made specifically for this exhibition–an audiovisual installation by J. Robert and É. Morin, and an installation incorporating computer networks by D. Rokeby – focus on the interface between human voice and computer technology. Ghaznavi’s essay on selected works by the artists foregrounds issues of community, space and meaning (especially as they relate to viewer participation). Includes artists’ statements. Biographical notes. 8 bibl. ref.
