Abstract (English)

In this catalogue for a two-part exhibition, featuring the work of Olson in one, and Hlady, de Soto, and Urban in the other, the curator Fischer examines the effects of sound presented in an art gallery. Borrowing from the theorist Attali, Fischer underscores how, in each work, noise plays a role in the construction or disruption of the social order. Biographical notes. List of works. 8 bibl. ref.
