Abstract (English)

Johnson argues that Hunt’s installations, linked by the theme of death, combine found materials in a ritualistic process that produces work evocative of reflection and passage. The author briefly considers differing cultural responses to death and emphasises the feminist aspects of Hunt’s working with textiles. Biographical notes. List of works. 12 bibl. ref.
