Abstract (English)

This catalogue accompanies an exhibition by eleven artists of European heritage now living in Canada. Curator Lerner explores how the artists’origins and experiences of emigration – new values and belief systems, new languages and identities – transpire in their work. Catalogue d’une exposition qui réunissait onze artistes d'origine européenne vivant maintenant au Canada. Le conservateur Lerner exprime dans qu'elle mesure l'origine des artistes et leur expérience de l'émigration –confrontation à de nouvelles valeurs, croyances, langues et identités – transparaissent dans les œuvres.
