Abstract (English)

The texts in this exhibition catalogue deal with the themes of identity and sexuality in Andrews’ work. After addressing the work that references AIDS and engages in memorialization, Watson claims that Andrews' art has the power to inspire action in the viewer. Hurtig casts a comprehensive look at the range of techniques and mediums used by the artist and links it to an exploration of portraiture. List of works. Biobibliography 6 p. 4 bibl. ref.
