Abstract (English)

As Regier notes, the purpose of this project was to create a forum between women artists and women in prison with the intent of exploring the potential for art to engage with and give voice to the marginalized. Each author, addressing themes of colonialism, cyclical violence and psychology, writes about one of the four collaborative projects initiated by the artists Cohen, Cutschall, Dempsey and Keeper. Biographical notes on authors. 17 bibl. ref.
