Abstract (English)

In a radio interview that served as the inspiration for this exhibition, Taylor, Teitelbaum and Worthington discuss representation, “wildlife art” in particular, and the reception of contemporary art by an uncomprehending general public. Developing the themes further in his commentary on the exhibition, Massier gives his personal response to each work, underscoring how an image may not be readily understandable, even if it is a realistic representation of an animal. 5 bibl. ref.
