Abstract (English)

"Craycroft's residency and exhibition 'Motion into Being,' presented as part of the Spring 2018 R&D Season : ANIMATION at the New Museum, creates a platform for the ongoing investigation of the construction of personhood and its political, social and ethical import. The film that Craycroft will produce plays with both abstraction and figuration, nodding to the work of Mary Ellen Bute and Oskar Fischinger, among others." -- p. [4].
