Abstract (English)

"These forms of relation are realized throughout Yoon's solo exhibition Iyeodosana : Gives-on-and-with, which brings together three interrelated video works set in two different places (Vancouver Island, Canada and Jeju Island, South Korea). Each video negotiates historical entanglements between the two that are conditioned by forces of tourism, militarism, and colonialism, and that affect ongoing interconnections between humans and environments." -- p.
