Abstract (English)

In an inauguration statement, Chief Frank Kaquitts calls for the preservation of wilderness in Canada. Falk focuses on the increased number of visitors in the Banff National Park in his presentation of photographs by Mitchell and Curran which document the Banff experience. Includes a note on the Trans Canada Highway Twinning Project as well as a statement by Mitchell. Biographical notes. 7 bibl. ref.
