Abstract (English)

Lord establishes the roots of history's marginalization of matrilinear origins and comments on the myth of "Oresteia." Discussing the construction of hetero/homosexual identity, Watson examines Wyngaarden's video work's exploration of butch and female roles and cross-dressing. Canyon's introduction situates the position of the queer artist within current art practice. Biographical notes.
