Abstract (English)

Three essayists reveal the complexity of Bustamante's work which combines photography, painting, and sculpture and locates itself at the wavering limits of silence and communication. Analysing the finality of Bustamante's ambiguous images, the authors note the importance of the spectator's gaze, the minimalist and existential accents, and the notions of distance and the tomb present in the works. 48 bibl. ref.
