Abstract (English)

Juhasz’s interviews with twenty women, all involved in the production of independent and experimental film and video, form an oral history of the women’s moment, women’s film and video, and the way they have intertwined. Juhasz appends an interview with herself to form a prologue and epilogue, and her introduction stresses that, in the history of feminist media, the interpersonal, as well as the personal, is political. Biographical notes. Circa 190 bibl. ref.
