Abstract (English)

Beck’s ÖDE is a spoof of lifestyle catalogues with photos of smartly-dressed people living well with the products they have purchased (in this case a wooden armoured tank modelled after mass-produced furniture from Sweden). This CD-ROM contains a Flash animated hypertext with content similar to the artist's catalogue and website. It also contains previously published reviews of the project. 13 bibl. ref.
