Abstract (English)

In this exhibition catalogue, Slade presents a variety of sources and influences from which MacLeod’s installation draws (such as literature and slapstick film). Slade suggests MacLeod’s work satirizes the corporatisation of popular psychology, and depicts scenarios far more complicated than those found in typical self-help books. Includes list of works.
