Abstract (English)

Three authors (a specialist, a writer, and a teacher) study Ontario photographer Livick's mural. Lennon traces the work's production stages and evokes the rituals surrounding the goddess Kali which inspired Livick's imagery. Woodman - through literary examples - and Bal - drawing from Hindu mythology - explain the meanings associated with the goddess. Brief biographical notes. 1 bibl. ref.
