Abstract (English)

Salvadori focuses upon opposed conceptions of nature in Western and Eastern thought and discusses Chen's installations in connection with the notion of active non-intervention in nature. In an interview with Sans, the artist discusses such issues as consumer society and the Chinese artist today, ecology and Taoist thought. Biographical notes. 35 bibl. ref.
