Abstract (English)

This unconventional catalogue contains texts by three authors - written in response to Graham's film-installation "Vexation Island" - as well as an artist's statement situating the piece within the context of his previous film-related works. Numerous references are made to the story of Robinson Crusoe, Freudian psychoanalysis, and the concept of "Island" as symbol for the modern subject/self. Biographical notes on artist.
