Abstract (English)

Tsuji situates Inuzuka's work within modern trends in Japanese ceramic work since the 1950s. Taking into account the artist's experience as a Canadian immigrant, Thomson analyses the installation "Dear Lake" in the light of environmental issues and mono-ha (school of things) theory.
