Abstract (English)

In relation to Sympo-Fibres International held in Saint-Hyacinthe, this catalogue presents the work of six Canadian artists gathered around the theme of memory and the use of textile fibre. Baert shows how memory and clothing are associated in both their individual and collective function, and analyses the works according to notions such as the body, death, war, and the community. 3 bibl. ref.
