Abstract (English)

Commenting on works produced by Tourbin around the 1970 Crisis October , Ord suveys the events that surrounded this affair (and their appropriation by the media) and establishes parallels with the work of Buren and with pop art. The author also examines the National Gallery of Canada's withdrawal from this exhibition project. 10 bibl. ref.
