Abstract (English)

This unconventional catalogue accompanied an exhibition of collaborative works by Melnyk/Glawson and Brown/Spence. Dahle's allegorical response to the works foregrounds issues of narcissism, fetishism, gender, sexuality and middle-class family values. The catalogue's cover can be turned into a miniature tableau. Includes excerpts from Melnyk's novel "Doctor Meist", journal entries by Brown, and artist's statements. Biographical notes. 85 bibl. ref.
