Abstract (English)

Reflecting at once the exhibition title -"Spare parts"- and the various aspects of Gougeon's work, Cauquelin's thematic texts call attention to notions characterizing the artist's sculptural installations, such as the concealed/revealed, body/soul and surface/underside dualities. Cauquelin also examines the work's physical and interpretative mechanisms. Introduction by Bédard considers similar topics. Biographical notes. 33 bibl. ref.
