Abstract (English)

Reid's interpretation of the four pieces presented in Rechico's exhibition calls attention to how the artist's labour intensive and repetitive use of domestic materials relates to bodily processes and disease. Laing bases her analysis of the works on psychological and biological aspects of the following concepts: body image, abjection, and genealogy. Includes list of works. Biographical notes. 31 bibl. ref.
