Abstract (English)

Catalogue and CD-ROM documenting an exhibition composed of sound installations by J. Cardiff, A. Martin and J. Williams. Gilbert’s experiential description of the exhibition places emphasis on walking as performative enunciation of memory and desire. She provides detailed description of each artist’s work, while drawing attention to issues of embodiment, intimacy and liberation. The CD-ROM includes video and sound documentation of the works, along with written statements by Martin and Williams. Biographical notes. 7 bibl. ref.
