Abstract (English)

Conceived of as a critical counter-strategy to traditional curatorial practice and art history, Hunter’s book – published to coincide with two exhibitions also titled Convergence – contains a fictional narrative based on the tragic deaths of NHL goalie Terry Sawchuk and Abstract Expressionist Jackson Pollock, and the narrator’s relationship with a death figure named Walker. 14 bibl. ref.
