Abstract (English)

“Manual For Advanced” contains horizontally cropped black and white snapshots of people and places, accompanied by a three-part fictional text dealing with the subjects of photography/film, language/writing and family values. The text brings together stories about a photographer with a group of friends at a bar, a young man’s relationship with his stepsister (a filmmaker), and poststructuralist theories on photography and language.
